Welcome to Hawkswick Cote Park, your Yorkshire Dales retreat.
Nestling in tranquil Littondale branching off Wharfedale, Hawkswick Cote Park is surrounded by a fabulous blend of stunning landscapes, interesting heritage, plentiful activities and endless ways to enjoy a memorable holiday. The Dales have some of the best walking, horse riding and cycling terrain in the country. Two long distance footpaths, the Pennine Way and the Dales Way pass nearby, arguably the finest sections both routes have to offer. Nearby the looming Kilnsey Crag and adjacent Tennant Arms invites you to linger for a photo and a pint. Just next door you can polish up your fly fishing technique and catch your own trout at Kilnsey Park.
A short drive takes you to Grassington Village, which is a charming place to visit, full of interesting shops, restaurants and inns. Parking is available just a short stroll away at the nearby National Park Information Centre, a great starting point, for exploring the delights of this stunning National Park.
There are sedate riverside walks, ancient ruins and refreshments available at Bolton Abbey, a truly delightful place for all the family. Journey back via the village of Malham and witness the awesome limestone scenery created in the last ice age that is Malham Cove and Malham Tarn. Return north on single track road through upland moors of endless skies to Litton and Littondale, spectacular!
